Karsiyn Haxut [Trooper] — She may be a big buff cheeto puff but she got the nickname “Kote” (‘glory’ in Mando’a) for a reason. She is glorious! But not necessarily victorious!

Unihmawa [Bounty Hunter] — I’m sort of in-between on him, since he’s a bonafide survivor that will find a way even if he has to beat it out of someone. But he is very much practical and prone to moving in one straight line.

Dilieth Lawioh [Consular] — As we are learning now, poor girl has a terrible streak of getting scared of something and allowing that fear to convince her to lash out. She’s liable to overextend and expose that as an exploitable weakness, which could be Awful Since She Is A Little God

Chixo Kallig [Inquisitor] — Dude IS the horror movie. He is smacking on ghosts like Skittles. Somehow he’s not quite the eldritch horror yet, he tends to keep those at bay because he’s busy nose-down in a holocron he’s got no business touching.

Darrash Nealev [Agent] — Cryptid man. Sniper, likes to hide in high-up places where you’d have to go extremely out of your way to find him - would be most likely to split his time between burrowing and sneaking around to figure out what’s really happening, and putting a stop to it if he can.

Eikutyr [Warrior] — If it’s killable, she’ll kill it; if it’s subvertable, she’ll exploit it. There is no room for failure when success grants you freedom, and freedom above all is what she chases.

Cota Douaiou [Knight] — He is born of the Force. He is Force Incarnate. Good luck even trying.

Some Favourite Fic Lines

Because the subject came up earlier, and why not? A non-exhaustive assortment of SWTOR fic lines I’ve written which I’m still incredibly delighted with, for various reasons (last one implied nsfw):

There’s an allure in the way Scourge seems to taste each word as he utters it, the sounds precise yet just alien enough to catch the listener off guard.

And so he’d stood there, in the endless, unbearable quiet, with a dusty box clutched to his chest, and drowned in the slow agony of what might have been.

“I should never have let you board Marr’s ship on your own! I should have gone with you, and protected you, and ripped Vitiate from the Eternal Throne with my bare hands! I would have killed him then and there, and his children as well, and then none of this would have happened -”

It’s as though Scourge is finally, fully existing in this galaxy again - no longer a statue locked in time and purpose, but alive and bright and burning.

“I have no need for dreams, Jedi. I have you.”

It is both his pride and his penance, to bear witness to Khel Sutek’s fall.

“At this point, my lord, I wouldn’t be entirely averse. It would save us both a great deal of embarrassment.”

One day he’d looked with dull eyes at the half-formed reflection shuddering nebulously across the dark metal of his cell, and seen the embodiment of his own contempt.

“I spent far too long searching for you to let you slip away when you’re finally here. And I’m not going to be coy about that, not after what it’s cost me.”

“I find I’m very eager for you to remind me, my lord, of how beautiful you look - when you’re on your knees.”

He is tasting what the light has to offer, and though he knows he will never find rest in its touch, for a little while he can find peace.

“Not every monument has to be built in the name of war, Scourge. Peace… is its own kind of triumph.”

“I believe the Imperial Reclamation Service handles digging up lost causes, perhaps you should ask them.”

Now hordes of enemies were boarding every level of Darth Marr’s ship, attacking every critical area, and Malavai had never felt so small and afraid as he did now, sprinting through scarlet screams of system alarms as the ship’s cacophonous contortions shuddered through his very bones.

He already knows their shallow fall along the back of the Sith’s neck, and the deeper progression from Scourge’s throat down through the centre of his vast chest; how they seem to split open the broad curve of his shoulders, sharpen his elbows, accentuate his ribs. 

“And here I thought you might have gone soft on me, Jedi. I always believed you had some Sith in you.”

He’s looking at a Scourge divested of all armour and weapons, exposed in every way, and yet the Sith still appears so powerful - his scarlet skin slick with sweat, his muscles taut with readiness, his face etched with the primal need to take, to possess, to claim.

I’ll stick to what I’ve been mulling over for … months: lifespan!

The closest thing to an answer I could find was fluffynexu’s estimate of 250-400 years on average, with extensions possible with the Force or medical intervention. Naturally I have to make everything more complicated and skew the average because I have a Pureblood (Priestess Nikpiutiuth) who lived to be nearly 800 years old. She was a Light-sided Sith and was already about 300y/o when Tenebrae was born, and endured (enjoyed) a horrific 500 more before she finally shrugged and said “I’ll call it quits, Force”. She lived to raise her own granddaughter and meet her great grandchildren.

For most of my LS SPB roster, they do tend to see their 500s-600s if they’re not . outright murdered before that. My DS SPBs.. as few and far between as they are.. generally see their 300s if they’re lucky, since they’re a tad busy killing one another off.

I think Vindican was maybe in his 100s-150s when Malgus slaughtered him, so he was still relatively young.

(Purebloods don’t talk about age much, after a certain point most people stop counting and nab the closest historical event to their birth for generalizations.)

Or Ruluhra Lamik (SWTOR), also a longfur Cathar but based on a crossbreed of a Siberian, a Norwegian Forest Cat, and a Maine Coon!!

most aloof / stadoffish oc — Moon Hyeon (standalone), because dude was a complete ass to everyone who ever loved him. He just refused to believe he could be loved because he had such severe mommy issues. No, he did not go to therapy. Yes, he is a Scorpio. dumbest oc — Jedi Master Jupso Onurimaa (SWTCW), because imagine thinking you can stop a prophecy from happening because you ignored it for like forty years. Now your Padawan has the consequence prophecy plaguing them and you can’t even die because you’ve gotta help fix the damn thing.

smartest oc — Jupso’s older Padawan, Master Hacora Kushiri (SWTCW). Not that it’s particularly good Jedi practice to be spiteful, but she did allow Ki-Adi Mundi to murder her so he could get his just desserts later on in life. She would be happily at rest in the Force while he gets his ass beat continuously for the next forty ish years, so that was a total win in her book. Sorry that her Padawan Amira had to miss out on a Master though.

horniest oc — One answer: Simon Heilig Karnz. A standalone oc transplanted from a fandom that shall not be named, but he quite literally fucked his way out of a first degree murder case. Like. He slaughtered his grandfather in Germany, moved to the US, became a sex worker, and he was just.. never convicted. Ever. Everyone just moved on about it and said “oh well” - goals tbh (fc - Bartek Borowiec)

but you are expected to be reasonable, fair, and courteous to your existing partner(s) and they must agree to enter a relationship with the new partner being courted. having an undue affair is punishable by probably death.

regarding children - all marriages are officiated with a borne child who will wear the combined named of their biological parents. being a deadbeat is punishable by death and having your name stripped from that child and also from history.

oh my personal fave, ofc the zuguruk have five-fingered hands. then its stated that the purebloods hybridized w the dark jedi. to me, that is false - the purebloods hybridized through the dark side of the force over time because they were no longer the dominant threat on their planet. this can be observed on ziost as well, with an increased number of mirialans in recent years and newborns are already starting to exhibit heightened flexibility and agility reminiscent of the mirialans.

His morals can also be heavily impacted by his settings, as he adopts the mindset of his surroundings in order to better blend in. • Organized/disorganized. — A little bit of both; he believes in organized chaos as an art and a science. It's something he's lived throughout his childhood and finds great comfort in it once he's out on his own.

• Close-minded/open-minded. — Darrash has always been one to consider all sides of a story; most of the time he just doesn't give a shit.

• Calm/anxious. — Call him the "master pretender" - taking into consideration he never wanted to join Intelligence in the first place, the feeling of constant surveillance took a deep root in his psyche. Even after a decade of the Academy and his own victories in the field, he behaves like a prey animal when work is done. But perhaps for the most irony, he's often the most level-headed person in the room when put on a directive.

• Disagreeable/agreeable. — This can purely depend on whether or not he likes you, even day-to-day. As said before - he has always considered all sides of a story, and further the implications of any prevailing end. But he usually doesn't care and will side with whoever gains the most beneficial advantage, usually to his own cause rather than what makes the most sense. Because nothing fucking makes sense in war.

• Cautious/reckless. — Similar to his organized chaos, he believes there can be a certain amount of recklessness that allows the job to get done as effectively as possible. He grew up as a full-time petty thief who, upon joining Intelligence, only relearned how to do what he’d always done, but now on a planetary scale.

• Patient/impatient. — Even though this is not one of his virtues .. he did make the decision to bide his sweet time for over! ten! years! to not only come out of the Academy as their top Agent but also earn their trust, so they'd give him a longer leash to do whatever he wanted. That's committing to the bit if there ever was.

• Outspoken/reserved. — Again - this can depend on who you are or what day it is or how beneficial either option serves for him. He's either silent as a Temple mouse or he's the loudest, most boisterous voice in the room.

• Leader/follower. — This can pivot depending on what the mission is becoming. Darrash has absolutely no problem taking the leading role and spearheading the charge, or he can take orders and fall into line, or he could even be providing the cover fire from a good ways removed. He's learned well, he's done well, he's acted better. Just give him something to do; he hates being idle.

• Empathetic/unempathetic. — Darrash is a deep empath, even if he hadn't been Force Sensitive. As a child he offered himself to the cause of recon, infiltration, and usually the attacker - he figured he was the best suited for it with his small frame and stealth capabilities, and would have rather made things easier for his friends to grab the goods. This carried into his time as a trainee and as a field agent: if he can help, he will.

• Optimistic/pessimistic. — Gotta have something to look forward to when you're the living embodiment of "shit is irreversibly fucked and I'm the magic button".

• Traditional/modern. — He loves his gadgets and gizmos - they're pretty exciting to employ in the field and learning about them can help take his mind off of whatever's bothering him. But he was still taught by self and service to rely on himself first and foremost, to tap into his nature and his knowledge. Anything else can be a crutch or a hindrance, the difference between life, limb, and death.

• Hard-working/lazy. — Again, he decided to spend a decade playing nice just to spend three more years as the Empire's little shadow-stepper. And he not once disappointed (even if he did things his own way) his handlers. The job was done no matter what.
